Life Goes On : Headed to the forest

This will be short, but I will elaborate more later. I am headed to Columbiana , Al to go the the Alabama Four- H Center, to go to a nature retreat, which i love , HOWEVER!! I haven't been on one since I was natural, therefore, this shall be interesting to see how my hair likes nature retreats !! LOL ttyl

Do You Hear That ? Kelis - Acapella

B4 this song , I was not really a Kelis fan, yes i did my occasional ballad of how my milkshake brings all the boys to the yard, but other than that, I never really saw her as having merit. She has 75% changed my mind with this song, and 25% with the album overall! And her fashion, well , I LIKE IT ! COOL BEANS GIRL!! Acapella is such a touching song, check it out !!

EXTREMELY CUTE CLOTHES ALERT !!

So, a while back I found this really cool site called "Boxing Kitten" , from another blog that was talking about Rhianna's clothing in the video, "Rude Boy" ! After some snooping and digging , I found that it was quite popular amongst the Fashionistas of Hollywood , For example, The Knowles Sisters (Beyonce and Solange for those slow pokes )! The Line is really cool and eclectic , but a tad bit pricey( BUT SO KINDA WORTH IT !! ) Its a mix of cool colors, patterns, styles, and fabrics. Au Naturel : Holding on !!

Okay SO! I love to make my own products because i get the chance to make things that work for my hair, so ! Ive been looking for new methods of holding my twist outs that is less expensive and smells nice! I have been using Elasta QP , but one, its really difficult to deal with, and two , its stinky :(!! *(Its has like a washing power, soapy, smell to it ) SO!!!! I decided to try to make a concoction of my own, i haven't done it yet, but here is my idea : Beeswax, which is great for hold, Plus Shea butter, which is great for softness, shine, and hold, coconut oil, which controls frizziness and adds shine, and vitamin E oil , which stimulates softness and add shine, and so much more ! So


Hopefully it works out well!!! i will have to try it a couple of times to get the measurements right and all of that, and also how it affects my hair, so until then

So Finals are here , and lucky me , all of mine are tomorrow!! All of them, but thankfully, it will signify the end of it all! The end of the hardest academic year I have ever experienced ! Like seriously, people told me junior year would be extreme , but i don't think I took them serious enough! AP classes, and extracurriculars, and college info, and jobs, and friends, and AGGHHHH!! *WHEW* but after tomorrow I will have made it, and i simply cannot wait !
